Hottest add to Oriental Media Network’s artist roster is guitarist Serkan Karaman, an extraordinary virtuose on the Al Di Meolian track. Serkan Karaman composes his own music
and actually happens to form there a harmonical bridge, a gateway of influences between East and West. He integrates the best of both in his music while bringing together Jazz and Anatolian Music in his unique atmospheric sound. Karaman was born in Oslo and has been playing the guitar passionately since childhood. He has worked in many albums as guitarist, arranger and producer. Between December 2009 and February 2010 he is on tour with his newest project SK2 where he performs with his acoustic guitar in his Serkan Karaman Duo Project with the pianist and flamenco guitarist Wolfgang Gerhard. Serkan Karaman brings together the ornamentation of Flamenco, the air of Nordic jazz and the rhythmic sensation of rock and melodical progressivity of Turkish classical music in his new project: SK2
